The Rockwood II Expanded plan adds 270sf of living space to the standard Rockwood II, which is accomplished by making the plan three feet wider. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are larger and the hall bath is somewhat larger with a larger vanity than the original plan. The dining room is wider and defined by a single column. The master bedroom is also wider and now includes a double tray ceiling, which is framed by a gabled roof on the back exterior of the home. Like the original plan, the entry and family room ceilings are over ten feet high. This home has nine-foot ceilings in the kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, as well the master bath and closet. Two small fixed-sash windows have been added in the utility room. On the loft level, the unfinished attic storage space is now included and is used in varying ways to accommodate the bath upgrade layout. The loft window has also been changed to a larger Palladian style in this plan.
