The Location: The location is in the heart of Bed-Stuy, a prime area, just 2 blocks from the subway, coffee shops and restaurants. It is a few minutes from the LIRR, Atlantic Terminal and the Barclays Center. The Kitchen: Full disclosure: there is no oven and unfortunately one cannot be added. However, there is a kitchen area consisting of a refrigerator, plenty of kitchen cabinets, a kitchen sink, and the area where long ago the small stove used to be. This "stove area" has been utilized by my previous tenants by installing attractive vertical shelving that holds, a microwave, a modern safe induction 2 burner hot plate and a Crock Pot. If you do not cook much, or you are an air frying, microwaving, crock pot slow cooking, Uber-Eats, Door- Dasher kind of person; this may be the perfect situation for you. Rental Requirements: You must have good credit, proof of emergency funds, and proof of income. One month's rent and one month's security deposit. You should be a non-smoker, with no pets and respect the cleanliness of the building. The Owner: I am the owner of this brownstone that has been in my family for over 80 years. This means it definitely matters that any tenant who resides here, cares about the building and its cleanliness. I do not live on the property and it is a quiet building with only 1 person on each of floor. From 1 cinematographer, a photographer/coder, to a tenant in public relations, all are artists of some kind, and the synergies are respectful, peaceful and great.
