We vacationed to Destin/Fort Walton every year for years and found Waterscape when they first built it in 2008 and started staying there every trip. We had 3 children and Waterscape had absolutely the best pool facilities of any complex in the area and still does. We said if we ever purchased a condo it would be here and eventually we did in 2012. We bought a 1 bedroom unit on the ground floor which is so great to just walk out to the pools and beach. This unit has a very nice size living room, a nice size full kitchen with a breakfast nook and table, a nice size bedroom with a king size bed and 2 full bathrooms. When we purchased the unit my wife redecorated with all new modern colors, 2 Haveritys real leather sofa sleepers, all new furniture and a bedroom suite that you would love to have at your home. We also just replaced the stainless fridge less than a year ago and just replaced the central heat and air a month ago with a Carrier Coastal Heat and Air unit so this condo is good to go for years with very little chance of additional out of pocket expenses. The unit also comes with its on storage room just outside the main door entrance. This is so nice for storing large items like kayaks or other beach toys that you only use from time to time. Lastly, we have had a local rental company rent it out when we don't use it and it has grossed over 34k each and every year. That doesn't include the cleaning fee of almost 6k charged to the tenants that stay there as well. The unit has paid for itself while giving us basically a free place to stay on the beach whenever we want to. We have stayed there and loved it but our family has grown up so we are now selling to buy a 2 bedroom unit.
