We remodeled our entire downtown place (new hardwood floors, new electrical, new kitchen, new bathroom) for our own use and enjoyment. Now we have to relocate for work and are looking for someone responsible to take care of our home. Our place is well-suited for a downtown professional who enjoys urban living, like we do. You can easily walk to all downtown restaurants, live music, and theatre. You have an assigned parking place, too, and an on-site storage unit for all your outdoor gear. It is possible to Uber everywhere and rent your parking place if you don't have a car, as downtown parking is at a premium and our place could not be more centrally located. The building has a large, communal laundry room with 8 card swipe machines at reasonable prices. Our building survived the 1964 earthquake and is very solid. It's older but its secure (key fob entry), and we are active in the HOA so we always know what is happening in the building. We are rolling utilities into rent, and will also include a monthly professional cleaning service to maintain our property (one of us is a neat freak). We would prefer to rent the place furnished, but will consider unfurnished for a 12-month minimum lease agreement at a price of $1,300. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions.
