    Nice sized WRP hunting property spanning 145 acres and including nearly 1/2 mile on both sides of the S. Platte. Ducks, geese, pheasants and turkey abound with the occasional trophy buck strolling by. Bordering the Sedgwick Bar State Wildlife Area's 865 acres, the property hunts much bigger than it actually is. There is a capped well on the NW corner with piping in place to a series of ponds that are currently dry. With a little effort, one could develop the ponds, plant a few food plots, and transform this place from great to spectacular. Get up early and head out to your very own honey hole on the S. Platte, bag your limit of waterfowl or turkey, and be back on the front range in time for dinner! Colorado Hunt Unit 92 has several advantages not found in other units: Deer...Buck tags can be drawn for "Private Land Only" with no preference points. Owner has drawn his buck tag for several years in a row. The "Season Choice" doe tag can be obtained in addition to the buck tag. Its a class "C" license which means you can get several of those if you want as long as they are available. For the past several years the owner has drawn a buck tag and purchased a leftover Season Choice tag. The Season Choice Tag is a doe only tag allowing you to hunt any deer season that is open in that unit but you must use the weapon particular to the season that is going on...archery, muzzleloader etc. You can also hunt the entire month of January (all regular deer seasons are closed then) with any weapon on the Season Choice Tag. Turkey...You can draw a tag for either 1st or 2nd season in the spring (they split the season in unit 92). A drawn or limited tag can be purchased in addition to a general turkey tag. You can only buy 1 spring "General Turkey Tag" in Colorado but you can also draw a "Limited Tag" in addition to the general tag and have 2 turkey tags to hunt on. In this unit you can hunt private land with a general tag. To hunt any public land in this unit you would have to draw a Limited Tag. Waterfowl properties of this size and caliber on the S. Platte, combined with good upland bird habitat, are hard to come by. This exceptional property won't last, call today!
