We're easy-going millennials and Gen-Zers looking for a roommate to join us in our 3-bed, 2-bath flat in Rogers Park. The available room is the master bedroom, with a target move-in date of March 1. Location We are by the corner of Sheridan Ave. and Columbia Ave., half a block from the beach, and three blocks from the Loyola Red Line station. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance, including a variety of grocery stores and restaurants. Apartment The building is a 3-story brick walkup. The flat is approximately 1800 sq ft. It includes a patio, a sun room, and a storage space. The kitchen has a full-sized oven, gas stove top, and dishwasher. Common spaces are furnished. We have gigabit internet speed and wifi. There's paid laundry in the basement. While it's an older, lived-in building, we make an effort to maintain a clean space. Room The room is the largest in the apartment, approximately 400 sq feet, with its own bathroom and a large closet. It has a window air conditioning unit and some furnishings that can be kept or discarded for you. Rent Rent is $1000, all utilities included (water, power, gas, and gigabit high-speed internet). There is no annual lease, but we will perform a basic background check and ask you to sign an agreement that assures at least one month full notice before moving out. Rent is on a monthly basis, with just a month notice needed before leaving. Utilities (electricity, internet, gas, water) are provided at no extra charge.
