Very small home in Cimarron with very small front and back yard. Out dated carpet, out dated wood cabinetry and flooring, needs fresh paint. Has a kitchen island and lots of cabinets that need to be refinished. Tall ceilings and older windows that need to be replaced. Kitchen leads out to a small covered brick patio. Vaulted popcorn ceiling in living room with a non functional wet bar. Split bedroom plan. Master bath is large and with a non working garden tub and separate older tiled shower. A 435 square foot unfinished raw-floored screened in porch/sunroom (non live-able space) sits off of living room, and was not original to the home. Small utility room with cabinets and space for a washer and dryer. Home has a lot of older dated wood cabinets. This is a cute home for the price, a good home for a starter or a fixer-upper. Purchased in 2011 at $134,900. Allegedly now in 2019 valued for tax collecting purposes by the city of Victoria at $171,940, and by Zillow in their over-inflated Zestimate at $197,399!... and although I’ve updated my homes facts, they refuse to adjust my incorrect property values. Buyers beware, homes in this area that are much larger are valued by the appraisal district much lower. Homes are being foreclosed in our area due to these over inflated taxing practices of checking Zillow Zestimates to decide property values instead of actually going out and assessing properties with no improvements and still suffering from Hurricane Harvey. Shame on you City of Victoria and shame on you Zillow. The actual value should be $134,900.00. Please look at the four other homes surrounding mine, all are 3bd 2 bath, and larger square footage. I’ve uploaded pictures of their Zillow Zestimates to show proof of the unacceptable inaccuracies of Zillow’s estimating practices. My house value needs to be lowered to $134,900!!!
