It's an apartment unit that will be shared between me, I'm a senior woman, and a female renter who needs to be 62+ or in other words also a senior. The unit has two entrances, one of which has sliding glass doors which open to a private courtyard overseen by the manager. It is all on the ground floor level with wheelchair accessible outdoor parking. The flooring is carpeting and tile, it has a full kitchen, a bathroom, and a large bedroom which accommodates two people. Trees and flowers including rose bushes surround the area everywhere. It's great to take a short walk around this complex, and the neighbors are quiet. There is a large common room with seating, where we hold parties on a regular basis. Everyone who lives here is 62+ and a senior. THIS IS A RENTAL FOR A WOMAN. You will need to be making an income of at least $1,000 a month to live here with me. Your income limit: $35,000 a year for both me and my roommate, not each but $35,000 total - which is $2,916 per month. That is the most money we will be allowed to make between us, at least for now. Your monthly rent will only be 30% of your total income, and so will mine. I can adjust my income as needed to accommodate this situation, so that we both fit into the income guidelines. It is Snohomish County public housing, and it's got great maintenance and a prime location too. And we have full permission from our management company to do this, it's all perfectly legal and aboveboard. Age: Must be at least 62. NEED AN EASYGOING TYPE. You will be getting into a great unit in a decent neighborhood, I'm already renting it here and need a roommate. I'm in the city of Snohomish. This is legitimate, and you will have to be that too. I'm a growing older but youth-oriented woman. I'm 64 and in decent shape, I can walk for miles and am fairly healthy. And I was formerly in law enforcement. The housing is exceptional, the grounds are well maintained and desirable. A beautiful garden and courtyard surrounds it. We are protected by our friends and neighbors. I lived here with my husband until recently, when he passed away. He simply died of old age. It's airy, elegant, and there are good people around. I'm on the lease and we can get you on it too. We would live in the same apartment. California King sized double bed, large bedroom, we will sleep back to back. It would be great if you own a car, but the town is within walking distance. A long term friendship will be necessary. See if we like each other over time. No funny business, no scams, NO weirdos, NO DRUGS, and no being pushy. You and I must be laid back and normal. You will be free to come and go as you please. But this will have to be your only home. We will each pay our rent separately. One thing: put the bulk of your stuff into local storage, especially at first. Bring clothes and useful items. If we get along okay I will see about getting rid of my unneeded stuff. I'm flexible and will get along with you, if you are too. You can sign with me for a year. We would sign it together once you have applied and been accepted for Snohomish County senior housing, you fill out an application here. Then you and I will get a monthly rent that is only 30% of each of our incomes. We will only pay 30% of our combined incomes for the monthly rent, in other words.
