We are offering studio, one bed, two bed, and three bed apartment options within the ARO Program. To qualify for the program, you must fall within the income requirements outlined by the City of Chicago. We will have two types of Apartments; ARO 60 and ARO 100. The ARO 60 apartments will be for those applicants whose household income is less than 60 percent of the area median household income (which varies by family size), and the ARO 100 apartments will be for those households whose income is less than 100 percent of the area median household income. Please refer to the table below for the 2020 income limits for each household size. RENT Below is a breakdown of the rent amounts and utilities for the various apartment types within the ARO program. Please note the only additional required monthly cost to residents is through ComEd for electric usage. Currently we are out of ARO 60% one beds and two beds. We do have availability in all other categories below. However if you would like to be added to a waitlist for the ARO60% 1 and 2 beds I am happy to do so for you. If additional paperwork is needed from the applicant, they will be given two business days from the requested date to provide the documentation to the property. Once the file is complete and received, either an approval or denial letter will be sent to the provided address. The application list will be processed in order until all units have been filled. The remaining applicants will be logged in current order to the waiting list for future vacancies. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION The following documentation is due for each household member who is 18 years old or older. In addition to this rental application, you will also be required to provide a copy of a valid form of identification and proof of income. To complete this rental application, you will be asked to provide 3 years of residential history as well as contact information for your rental references. You will also be asked to provide information on your monthly income. Please be prepared to pay the application fee ($50 per person) as outlined in the property listing. APPLICATION APPROVAL Once your application is approved by our community Manager, you will be required to submit additional qualifying documents for the City to qualify you for the ARO program. After your application has been approved by the City, which can take up to 4 weeks, you will be able to select a floorplan and you'll be provided a lease to sign. Floorplan selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
