Fan or AC? It's your choice: Save $5/night and skip the AC. Or splurge $5 more dollars per night and bask in the cold. This is my way of keeping costs down. We have two oscillating, height-adjustable fans, two ceiling fans in the living room, and a brand-new AC as of June '13. But the space is usually cool enough that you won't need the AC.
