The downstairs unit has ample space for a studio. Use it as an in-home office, gym, artist studio, guest space, third bedroom, or all of the above. The studio is accessible through an exterior entrance only. Both units open onto a backyard with views of the Madrona hills, a built-in fire pit, and in-ground garden beds. In spring, a flowering cherry tree fills the upstairs kitchen with a pink glow as light filters through the blossoms. In the front yard, mature landscaping, including an apple tree and rose bushes, provides privacy and a feast of color for the eyes. Nestled in the heart of the Central District, we're a short walk away from everything you need: grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and a range of shops. Capitol Hill and Madrona are right next door with more shops and restaurants. Lake Washington is a short bus ride or walk away. Downtown, the International District, and Pioneer Square are about 10 minutes away. Bus lines direct to these neighborhoods and downtown (#2, #8, #48) are nearby. Availability: This rental is available starting June 1st with a flexible start date. Tours: We are hosting tours the week of April 27th on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please book a tour with your preferred time through Zillow. A tour of the home must be completed before an application can be submitted. All tours will be completed before applications are collected. Applications: A tour of the property must be completed before an application can be submitted. The homeowner uses Apartments dot com for leasing and background checks. A fee of $30 per applicant will be charged, which includes a credit report, criminal background check, and eviction history, processed through TransUnion. Rent: $4,500/month. Pets: 1 pet under 40 lbs allowed with prior review and approval. Landscaping: Tenant must handle yard upkeep. A lawnmower is provided. Parking: Street parking is readily available. Income: Tenant should have a monthly income that is at least 2.5 times the rent amount. Applicant to provide recent pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements. Credit Score: A credit score of at least 700 is required. A full credit report to check for any red flags like late payments, high debt levels, or bankruptcies. References: Contact information for previous landlords to verify rental history and behavior. Criminal Background Check: To ensure no serious criminal history. Eviction History: Checking for any past evictions. Rental History Verification: Details of previous rental addresses and duration of stay.
