An easy to maintain Ranch style house with finished basement. The kitchen was redone by the previous owners shortly before we bought the house. Since we have moved in we have replace the furnace and added air conditioning, replaced the roof, soffit and facia, replaced the retaining walls and expanded the driveway and added new landscaping. The garage door, opener, front doors and side screen door were also replaced. We opened up the wall between the living room and dining room, recovering the floors in both rooms and hallway. We removed the multiple linoleum floors in the kitchen and installed tile. We replaced the countetops with solid surface formica and added a tile backsplash. Neighborhood Description This is a quiet neighborhood that is a convenient bus ride into downtown Pittsburgh. It is changing in that the original owners are moving out and making way for younger families. The golf course down the street is now a new development of fancy Townhomes and Single Family homes. Many people walk at night with their children and dogs. People are friendly and always saying hello.
