This is a shared living situation with me the owner, but I will be gone traveling a lot so you may enjoy the place to yourself on occasions. I'm 40/m and work in IT. My current tenant/roommate has lived here for over a year and loved it but just decided to leave to pursue other endeavors and so I have reactivated this listing. I am trying to set the rental price a little below what you'd pay for your own 2br apartment which seems fair to me considering the unique situation here. If the idea of a roommate is not ideal to you, my experience with the previous roommate is that we were never in each other's way. The house is large enough that it never felt like anyone else was even there at times. And on that note, I highly prefer a single tenant vs 2+. We can negotiate it like this; two rental options here: 1. Shared @ $1200: you get 2br but will have a roommate part of the time 2. Exclusive @ $1600: you get 2br with no roommate House size: 2500 sq ft Your rented space within the house: 1300 sq ft * beautiful home with large sun-filled living room, large landscaped front and back yards * you will have the master bedroom and private half bath, plus an additional smaller room for your exclusive use * the smaller room mentioned is furnished as an office with desk and chair but you are free to change that! * master has a large closet, smaller bedroom a smaller closet * split-level home, your available living space will be entirely upstairs except for laundry use downstairs as needed. additionally there is storage space downstairs if you need it. * home is furnished nicely upstairs * huge living room with huge couch and TV upstairs * kitchen upstairs * laundry in lower floor * ample parking, you could have 3+ vehicles if you wanted to. long driveway, plus street parking. * ample storage space on upper and lower floors * ultra-fast gigabit fiber internet and wifi throughout the home * ADT security system for your/our peace of mind * all utilities included in the monthly rent * technically a shared living situation, but depending on how often I am gone, it may live more like your own private 2-br apartment. this is for a single occupant only, as we are basically sharing the home's space 50/50. no smoking. locked doors are the owner's spaces.
