Our little house with its gorgeous view of the marsh is available this year from October 7, 2026 to May 7, 2027. We are situated in pretty South Eastham, about 2 miles from the rotary- convenient to everything. We've been doing this for over 30 years and try to make our winter tenants totally happy. There is a bedroom and full bath with tub/shower upstairs. One bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed and the small bedroom has twin beds. There is a full bath with shower downstairs. The wide driveway gives you plenty of room for parking. We have a washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas water heater and economical natural gas heat. There is a large screened/glassed porch with skylights plus an open deck which is great for bird feeders. A wood burning fireplace in the living/dining room is cozy on cold winter evenings. The house is on a private dead end road so there is no through traffic and we are a 3 minute stroll to beautiful sunsets on the bay. Boatmeadow beach is a lovely pristine place, wonderful for winter walks and the National Seashore is minutes away. The deck, porch and kitchen look out over the constantly changing marsh which is conservation land, so your closet neighbors are across the marsh. There are cardinals and chickadees to feed all winter and the chipmunks and chickadees will eat from your hand if you are patient. Imagine standing at your kitchen sink and looking out over your deck, the birds and the marsh. The rent is $1900/mo with first, last and security. Our rent is low so we can find just the right responsible people who will enjoy our house all winter. Internet connection with a is provided but utilities and firewood are not. The house is fully furnished with dishes, pots and pans, etc. - even sheets and towels if you would like us to leave them out for you. References required and proof of current employment.
