Hello, thanks for looking! We are looking for someone (open to a couple) to rent out the mini house on our property for six months from March 1st to September 1st. We are open to doing month to month. Rent is $1500 /month, utilities are $200/month (including wifi). About us: We recently had a baby, which now makes us a little family of three! We're passionate about bikes, gardening, and time outside. Though we are pretty busy, we try to make time for shared meals and very much value community! About the Neighborhood: The house is located in Pinehurst, a quiet neighborhood a little over a mile from the Northgate light rail station, and walking distance to restaurants, a deli, and two grocery stores. There is plenty of space for parking in front of the house and on the street. About the space: The mini house is a stand alone structure that we renovated and lived in for two years before moving into the big house on the same property, which we live in now. We put a lot of love and care into the space, and hope that you enjoy it! It is 340 sq ft with a sleeping loft accessed by ladder. The space is small but when we renovated we tried to maximize the space as much as possible. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with soaking tub, dining nook with built-in storage, living room, heat pump with A/C, and a space for a work from home setup. The place comes furnished with an Avocado brand queen mattress, the living room furniture in the photos, dresser and wardrobe, dishes, coffee maker, as well as a dining table and chairs in the dining nook that are not pictured. The garden space has many native plants and we like to grow vegetables in the warmer months. Interest in growing plants (or just harvesting and eating them) would be a big plus! The garden is a shared space. Laundry is located in the basement of the big house, which you would have access to through an entrance from the outside, a short walk from the front door of the mini house. Storage space in the basement is available for gear and bike storage. We have one loving cat. No other pets please.
