It's small but has high ceilings and a lot of thought and effort has made it a very functional place to live. I refinished the original hardwood floors and moulding. I also built a custom captain's bed frame that has 6ft drawers which can store more clothes than a standard dresser. Another highlight is a rotatable tv mount that allows one to watch TV in the living room or while in bed. All the things mentioned will stay except the TV itself and my furnishings. Another big perk is a large rooftop with views of Downtown, Sunset blvd, and the mountains to the north. You're welcome to have a small table out there to eat breakfast etc but unfortunately no parties. The entrance is on Glendale Blvd where there's always street parking and no street cleaning! The only reason I'm moving out is because I'm getting a dog and want a place with a yard. If not I'd stay as the place has tons of character. It's $1,550 a month (includes all utilities and wifi) plus a $1,550 security deposit. It's a month to month lease but I have the lease for several more years. So I'm ok with short term or long term but prefer a month to month lease. The space is available Nov 16th.
