The Continental Divide Trail and popular Colorado 14ers Grays Peak 14,270 and Torreys Peak 14,267' are just 3 miles up Stevens Gulch Rd. It's a quiet place with a lot of outdoor activity nearby. The house is at an elevation of 9700'. Weather can vary drastically throughout the seasons and even every day. The summer at Base Camp is beautiful with weather ranging from a low of 40 degrees at night to a high of about 80 during the day. There are 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower in the house.
