I live in a 1900 sq/ft split level home on 3.25 wooded acres 5 miles up coal creek canyon. It is a 4 bedroom house and I am looking for one roommate. The house divides well with the rental room on the bottom level, my room and office on the top level, and the shared space of an open living room and kitchen on the middle level. The rental room has a private bathroom attached. There is a den with a fireplace on the downstairs level that the rental room joins. The house is secluded with amazing mountain views and at the same time is within a 5 minute walk to a corner store/gas station, post office, liquor store, coffee shop, and seasonal restaurant. Wildlife are on the property daily: deer, moose, bobcats, etc. This house has the best of both worlds - the convenience of being a 15 minute drive from town and all necessary amenities while also being privately nestled in the mountains. The house is 5 miles up coal creek canyon and a 10 min drive from Hwy 93 (runs between Boulder and Golden). Drive times to Arvada 15 min, Golden 20 min, Boulder, 20 min, Denver 40 min, Eldora ski resort 20 min, Walker Ranch trailhead 5 min. I am a teacher and an artist and am looking for a mature responsible professional that wants to live in the foothills with a bunch of outdoor space. There is also a shared guest bedroom available for visiting guests. The house is situated on a high south facing hillside, gets loads of sun, and has fiber optic internet. There is no garage parking right now. Sorry no pets and no smoking. The lease duration is 6 or 12 months. All utilities are covered with the rent. No pets and no smoking.

I am a 48 year old teacher/artist and travel a good bit for work and play. I am out of the house most of the day and like to spend my time outside. I rock climb, fly fish, and spend many weekends playing in the mountains.
