Ranch style block with a front brick facade. When I arrived at my new home in 2001, there was zero landscaping, just a weedy lawn and 2 very beautiful large live oaks, 1 in the front yard, one in the back. I have since landscaped the front yard, and have created a tropical oasis in the backyard. I sit on my back screened lanai and watch the birds feed, and enjoy the peace. I also put in a well, and irrigation system to feed the plants. I have re-plumbed the home, replaced the roof and added a nice efficient indoor heat/air unit. I pulled the carpet and stained my concrete floors. More upgrades, and still upgrading. The home is well insulated and I have low electric bills.
