Older lakefront cabin home, set up for fishing and relaxing. Easy access by land and boat. Off Lake Road 5-31 Newer Central heat and A/C unit, propane cooking/waterheater. Home is very comfortable, furnishing are only 6 years old and barely used. Two summer season's we signed up with property managers to use our home as a vacation rental, it has everything ready, if you want extra income. Home is older, but built very well. 95' seawall has been reinforced and is sturdy, dock is legal and permitted thru Ameren. Septic, works well and there are no issue's whatsoever. Well is a community well, cost 75.00 a year for water, and is very good water. Neighbors are the best! Very friendly and helpful. We are looking to retire soon, and unlike all the other property owners around that drive a couple hours to use the vacation homes, we fly for several hours, then drive for several hours.. price's get more expensive everytime I book. Hate to sell this home, it is cute, quaint, and I love everything about it. It is in a quiet 5 mile an hour cove, great swimming & has the best crappie fishing right off the dock ( ask the neighbors!) its a peaceful lakehouse, not a party house, this is the quiet side of the lake, and everyone wants to keep it that way. House is located at 38 MM. Bear Bottoms resort is 1 mile on water, with fireworks every Saturday night, and Capt Ron's is real easy to get to on water and land. Everything you need is within 5 miles drive on land. Laurie has groceries, gas, restaurants, hardware, shopping, movies, golfing, Sunrise Beach has a lot too, with the new Woods grocery store just down the road. Depth of the back of the dock is around 20' front of dock is 12'. .I have talked my Husband into including his pontoon boat in the purchase of this home. ( was not easy!) our price is firm at 184500. but with that you get a fully nice furnished, good BEDS!, all linens, all cooking, all nice towels, everything you need to enjoy life at the lake, plus a 1999 24' Crestliner pontoon with a 150 horsepower 2 stroke. Boat runs great and has extra large pontoons for handling rough water when needed. There is a small, well built shed on the property, and everything inside is included, lawnmower, weedeater, backpack blower, saws and all hand tools, even fishing pole and fishing net. Have new BBQ for pontoon and long shaft minnkota trolling motor that works great. You have to drive by and at least check this one out if you have been house shopping in the area.
