We are probably not going to be in this house much longer, as we plan to move (retirement). The house is going to sell FAST when we put it on the market, because it is in great shape in a quiet yet very convenient neighborhood, with an additional sun room that is large, private, and beautiful, done entirely in light-colored wood with windows on all three sides, right off the kitchen. It has its own AC and heat. The garage is in excellent shape and fits two large cars (we used to have an SUV and station wagon in it at the same time). It faces the street, so there is very little driveway to shovel on snow days. The attic has pull-down stairs, making for huge and easily accessible storage. There is a working wood-burning fireplace in the family room. The formal dining room is right off the kitchen, too. The back patio is new and fairly large, made with beautiful Idaho quartz. There is ample space for a large flower garden, or even a vegetable or tomato patch. The house across the street (1174) sold in late 2007 for almost $254,000. It is identical to ours except it lacks the 380 sq. ft. elegant sun room we added and the expanded pantry and laundry rooms. Those extras and the large, kid-friendly back yard make this house worth a great deal more. Neighborhood Description Windmill Lane is a cul-de-sac, so there is little traffic. We are a short walk to supermarket and other major shopping, but because we are in a valley, we don't see or hear traffic or the shopping center hubbub. It's a friendly neighborhood of just 44 homes, about half of whom have school-age children.
