Built in 1915, first generation Italians lived and raised a family here. Their nephew, Michael Murino, in 1917 left from here to go to WWI. My family was lifelong friends with the Murinos. We purchased the home in 1975, and soon the lot west of the house. Over a five year span, the home was completely rebuilt. Most people consider a rebuild to be new paint and carpet. This rebuild was complete in that it included floors leveled, ceilings refinished, walls refinished, natural woodwork sanded & resealed, windows rebuilt, radiators/boiler/overflow tank rebuilt, kitchen cabinets added, stainless sink and work top added, large kitchen hutch refinished, pantry rebuilt, etc. The high level of this rebuild has been maintained over the years, with a heat pump - a high efficiency central heat/air - recently added. Am I overlooking something? Yes. During the original rebuild we found Mr. Murino's WWI helmet and returned it. $165,000. *** Included in the sale is the lot west of the house. *** The home is currently occupied.
