Originally built as a Victorian boarding house, the property has been lovingly restored, its history preserved but upgraded with modern conveniences. Featuring: - Interesting residents from all over the world, be part of the community from the moment you arrive! - Beautiful rooms with luxury linens and ensuite bathrooms - All-equipped communal kitchen (free coffee, milk, and other goodies) - Co-working space and battle-tested wifi all over the property - Relaxing meditation room - Small library - Free laundry room, detergent included - Living room with an HD projector - Amazing pool & tropical gardens The room you'll be staying in is in 1 of our 4, three story houses (no elevator, European style!) Our property is gated, and each member has access to the entrance code and a key for all communal areas in addition to their private room. In addition to your private suite, you'll have access to all common areas, including pool, co-working spaces and battle-tested wifi everywhere on the property, free laundry machines & detergent, professional fully equipped chef's kitchen, meditation room with yoga supplies. Street parking readily available in the area. Or, to rent one of our onsite parking spaces for your stay, ask about availability: our fee is $70/week, or $150/month. The Neighborhood Little Havana: Hispanic culture permeates everything in Little Havana - colorful murals, monuments to heroes past and present, elderly men playing dominoes as they discuss politics and cigar rollers deep at work amidst Little Havana's ever-present aroma of Cuban coffee. These scenes of daily life in Little Havana play out amidst a backdrop of pulsating traditional Cuban and Afro-Cuban music, storefronts, unique art galleries and quaint typical restaurants. Little Havana landmarks include: Calle Ocho, the main drag of Little Havana, where fruit stands, art galleries, Cuban restaurants and cigar shops line the avenue and Walkway of the Stars, which honors Latin American celebrities including Gloria Estefan and Celia Cruz. At Domino Park, there are daily heated daily domino games among practiced locals. Take a break and grab a show at Tower Theater, a restored Art Deco theater and cultural venue. On the last Friday of each month, Little Havana hosts Viernes Culturales, or Cultural Fridays, a monthly gallery night showcasing the cultural arts scene of the neighborhood. Little Havana offers a taste of multicultural Miami at its best. Brickell: Brickell is a dense, high-rise residential neighborhood with many upscale, luxury condominium and apartment towers. Brickell Avenue, Brickell's main north-south avenue and along Miami Avenue, home to many popular Miami restaurants, shops and places of entertainment. A few hundred feet east of the northeastern side of Brickell is Brickell Key, a gated island of upscale, high-rise residential and hotel towers. Today, greater Downtown Miami is one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Miami, booming from 40,000 residents in 2000 to 80,000 in 2010.
