The main house known as the Robert Guyn Jr House is on the National Register of Historic Places noted as one of the early stone buildings of Central Ky. The 36+/- acre farm is on Troy Pike just south of Troy, Kentucky. The house lays on gently rolling land with mature tree lines and a spring that feeds Clear Creek that runs between Troy Pike and the property. The original Federal style house was constructed circa 1802 and 1827. Additions have been added over the years. The interior of the house is unique in having rooms fully paneled -- ceiling, walls and wainscott. In the attic you will see where full 3x3 rafters were pegged at ridge and collar beams. The original house was built from dry stone white limestone. It is time for a new owner to bring this home back to its original glory.
