Current independent appraisal 5/27/25. Our Craftsman style historic home has been updated during the past 27 years. There are 3 walk in closets for bedrooms, built in cabinets upstairs with an additional hall closet, a coat closet in the front room and a formal dining room with new light fixture. 100% of the plumbing was replaced including the sewer stack, extra long claw foot tub, shut off valves for each water source, main shut off in basement and a shutoff valve for the 2nd floor. Water heater was replaced and bathrooms updated, one was originally a 1/2 bath. Approximately 70% of the electrical was replaced. There is a newer shed, chain link fence, large off-street parking and last year a new front porch. Back porch was also redone, fresh paint inside and out. We have a full basement with plumbing access and a second laundry room, a storm shelter and new Wi-Fi garage door opener. The house has a lot of history. We've found some items during renovations: photo, newspaper clippings, square nails, an old bottle in the yard, once had pocket doors, a doorbell still on the wall, mirror has wallpaper behind it, had water radiators, door was relocated in the front room, two bedrooms were originally attached, I once found stamped numbers on floorboards (can't find them now). I've always wondered if this was a Sears kit home but can't confirm.
