My husband and I have a nice queen-sized, fully furnished room for rent. It is for 1 person only - no exceptions. Our neighborhood is quiet, conducive to walking, biking, and jogging. We've lived here for 25 years. This open-ended, monthly rental can be as long as our mutual compatibility allows. There is a simple rental agreement. The room features a queen-sized bed, a large nightstand, a writing table and chair, and a large flat-screen television. There is an additional dressing room with a closet located in your room. In your dressing room is a large armoire with tons of drawer space. The rent is all-inclusive. This includes reasonable use of utilities (electricity and water), a full-sized refrigerator located in the garage, a smaller refrigerator and microwave upstairs near your room, kitchen privileges, washer/dryer, Verizon Fios 500/500 Mbps fiber-optic Wi-Fi, and use of the pool. We will not tolerate ANY DRAMA, DRUGS, FIREARMS, OR EXCESSIVE DRINKING. We strongly prefer that you have a full-time, Monday-to-Friday, 9-5, brick-and-mortar job (not a work-from-home position), own a car, and have a valid driver's license and registration. However, we will consider others. We have two dogs, Lucy and Benny. Benny is a large, mixed-breed Collie/St. Bernard mix. Lucy is an Australian Shepherd mix. Our tenant needs only to be dog-tolerant. They are VERY friendly and live in our space in the back of the house. A $300 FULLY refundable deposit is required before moving in. The deposit will be refunded if your room and bathroom are left neat and clean on the day of your departure. Rent is all-inclusive. Utilities, garbage pick-up, WIFI, and video-on-demand are included in rent. Rental agreement is month-to-month with a 10-day notice to vacate.
