Meadows Place is considered a city and not a neighborhood. We have our own city government with police department, public works, and parks department we are also one of the smallest cities to have our own police department, fire department and Paramedics/Ambulabce service. Our elementary school, Meadows Elementry, is one of the main reasons people move to Meadows Place. The school is in the middle of the neighborhood, next to the Tennis courts, 2 parks, 2 running tracks, 3 baseball fields, a swimming pool, a brand new lake and more. Living in Meadows Place reminds those of us in our 30's and 40's how it was for us to grow up. We know our neighbors and our kid's friends and their friend's families. You do not mind your kids staying out after dark thanks to our dedicated and thorough police department that patrols constantly. I would definitely recommend it to familes with school age children.
