What the owner loves about this home
I love that I'm not on top of my neighbors. There is a nice amount of space between us. I love how unique my house is - it doesn't look like anyone else's. I love my entrance room where the slate floor is perfect for snowy or wet feet. My den is very spacious with a bow window to let in lots of sunlight. From the den you walk into a cedar wrapped room with a wood burning stove that can heat the entire house during the winter. Upstairs is considered the main level where the master bedroom has a huge windowed wall that looks out onto my lake – Lake Lookover. The bathroom, kitchen, living room, spare bed room, dining room and sun room are also on the upstairs level. My dining room has a hardwood floor made of Australian cypress, which is very durable and beautiful. Most of my windowsills are lined with slate that has the most beautiful colors. My sunroom looks out into my backyard and contains my plethora of plants! From there I’ve watch thunder storms, strong winds bend the trees, rain storms and snow storms, watching the snow float down and pile up! Every day I watch the abundance of wildlife that uses my yard as a thoroughfare to wherever they’re going! Foxes, bears, deer, rabbits, tons of birds including humming birds that love the backyard garden, Goldfinches and of course the cute chipmunks! Aside from my private beach with swimming in the lake, It's close to skiing and sledding, hiking, Wawayanda Park, the Renaissance Fair in the fall, one of the last existing Drive-in theaters, Orchards and apple picking, the Botanical Gardens, Ringwood manor and Weird Clinton Road!
