The King Estate, also known as the Baywood, was built in 1880 in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Alexander King was the original owner. The architectural style of this home, Second Empire, originated in Paris in the late 19th Century. This "French" inspired home was added to the List of City of Pittsburgh historicdesignations in 1992.
