Our home is a classic colonial designed home with a 2 car garage that opens into the basement, where the gang hangs out with their own fireplace and exit. We built a 2 leveled deck, the width of the house that is great for entertaining. The laundry is on the first floor next to the kitchen, where the pantry is located. The driveway faces south so that the snow melts without using salt and with minimal shoveling. Neighborhood Description This is a wonderful neighborhood filled with all ages and wonderful people. Many dog walkers and talkers around here. It is a "real" neighborhood, where people look out for each other. We have a neighborhood e-mail and phone list, which has been very helpful to me to find handymen and repair services. This is the type of neighborhood where many people jog, walk, and bike. It is an active area without being busy. We are all close to the Pittsburgh amenities and bus line nearby.
