They share re-sponsibilities and resources. Utilizing the concept of Co-housing, shared spaces in the center of the building include a kitchen and dining area, laundry, and recreational spaces. Shared outdoor space in-clude parking, walkways, open space, and gardens. Neighbors also share resources like tools and vacu-ums. Members have independent in-comes and private lives, but neigh-bors collaboratively plan and manage community activities and shared spaces. Community activities feature a weekly-scheduled shared meal, meetings, and workdays. Neighbors gather for parties, games, movies, or other events. Cohousing makes it easy to form clubs, organize child and elder care, and carpool. Cohousing facilitates interaction among neigh-bors for social and practical benefits, economic and environmental benefits. The central core of the Village contains a number of spacious rooms for use by the members. Using this space, we intend to develop an in-house Family Day Care serving just the members of the Village.
