121 Santa Fe is a tri-plex that was built in 1910. Unit A is a very nicely refurbished 1.5bd 1ba 675 square foot unit. The rectangular layout is slender and long with a large living room, and a bedroom, encompassing the left side of the building. The front door leads to a medium-sized front patio, and an iron gate which faces a beautiful restored home (built in 1901) across the street. As you walk in the front door, you'll enter a large living room with a high ceiling that extends to your right. When you turn left, you'll see a long narrow hallway that extends all-the-way to the back of the unit. As you walk down the hallway, you'll pass a small kitchen area. Continue, and you'll enter the first bedroom containing a small closet, and a door to the bathroom. The small bathroom has a shower (no tub), sink and toilet. As you continue through the bedroom, you'll enter the 1/2 bedroom in the far back of the unit, which also has a small closet. One block away is the tiny historic town of Point Richmond, where you will find a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and art stores. During the evening, you have your choice of watching a play at the little 50 person Masquer's playhouse, or listening to some quality live music at the old Baltic bar restaurant. There is also a Starbucks and other wonderful restaurants and shops - all about 1 block away. About 1 mile away are the Point Richmond hills (seen in the office view below) which contain a maze of trails though which you hike and enjoy fantastic 3 bridge views (Golden Gate bridge, Richmond-San Rafael bridge, and Bay Bridge) Wonderfully sweet neighbors are on all sides. A very nice K-6 school is 3 blocks away. A bus stop is 1 block away (15min ride to BART).
