We decided to renovate our old home and create a bright and cheery updated space for you as you stay in Lafayette. We have a can't beat location and and you get to most places in Lafayette in under 10 mins but you are also less than mile from the Cajundome and Cajun field. At our pied-a'-terre (French for "foot on the ground" but commonly now used to mean "a temporary or second lodging"), you'll find new, comfy beds, beautifully selected decor, a well stocked kitchen with pots/pans, dishes, spices (including local fav, Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning), wine glasses, utensils, etc....but with so many amazing places to eat...who wants to cook? :) The front bedroom has a king bed, large closet and chest of drawers, along with newly added blackout curtains. The second bedroom has full sized bunk beds, dresser and closet. We also have a dedicated workspace for you in the second bedroom, where you can close the door for Zoom calls, etc. And you'll have super speedy internet access with fiber to the home. The washer and dryer, located in the laundry room, is behind a locked door at the end of the kitchen. It is locked as it sits outside the mother in law suite, where a family member currently lives. They access the suite from the back entrance and park behind the house. We will set up whatever arrangement works for you to for you to use the laundry!
