Upstairs you have a comfortable 1950's 3 bedroom bungalow with hardwood floors, fireplace, 80's kitchen, #1 primary bathroom. Downstairs is a recently remodelled full basement with primary bath #2, jetted tub and tile; 3 additional carpeted bedrooms, with big windows onto window wells, plenty of light, wired for ethernet. 2 living rooms, upstairs and down, each with a fireplace and Lopi insert. Washer/dryer in the basement. Outside are hangout spaces with wonderful garden beds, a fire pit, grassy backyard, and side patio. The additional finished outbuilding in the back yard has been used as office, meditation temple, girl's getaway, and guest bedroom. Presently house is partly furnished and equipped: two fridges, couches, kitchenware, some beds, tables, chairs, kitchenware, which can stay or I can clear what you don't want. Four bedrooms are about 10'x11' plus closet, one is larger and one is smaller. A drainwater heat exchanger preheats the house water heater, saving energy and cutting your electric bill a bit. Annual lease renewable with inflation bump. House can be rented by one or a group of six signers. The group lease allows individuals to move out early if a replacement is found and approved by landlord and remaining housemates; rolling this over, year after year, makes for a resilient, stable community. If a group then you are expected to govern yourselves responsibly (suggestions for best practices are available, but internal group governance is up to you). Pet lease and rent ($50/mo) okay for a cat; no dog unless with a single family. No smoking or guns please. Tenants pay all utilities. Fuel oil tank is refilled by Ballard Oil (paid by tenants) and forced-air furnace maintained and tuned for efficiency annually (paid by landlord). Last January the shared utilities were $120/person. Parking on this street is perpendicular street parking, so there are six spaces, plus 2-3 more in carport and driveway.
