The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Lots of people are out walking their dogs or jogging in the mornings and evenings. Very non-instrusive and friendly home owners association. There is a nearby train-track which can be distracting at first, but it's much less irritating than being near an airport or a major highway. The neighborhood is sort of a giant culdesack off of main roads, so there isn't much internal car traffic since there are only 2 main ways in and out of the neighborhood with no thru-traffic to speak of. Lots of young families around with kiddos. Several big tech employers nearby...IBM, 3M, Cisco, Apple, Sun, etc. Several major shopping areas within a 5-10 minute drive from driveway to parking lot. Several parks and greenbelt areas within walking distance. Easy access to both U.S. 183 and Loop 1. Been here for 7 years and I'm very happy with the neighborhood.
