The tenet must have references that can be verified. I may visit the applicants current address to verify the address and to confirm that they live to normal adult standards. All utility's must be put in the tenet's name. The move in cost is around $2000.00. That includes a security deposit which is one and a half's times one month's rent + the first month's rent and water escrow. If the applicant has horrible credit I still might consider renting to them but a larger security deposit will be required. I only do showings after a short phone interview . Before I proceed with a showing I will need some information from the applicant so I can make sure we have a good fit and to go over the applicants qualifications. If I feel the applicant looks good there will be a background check needed , The background check has a fee of $35.00 non refundable. Musts pass a background check
