It is highly recommended to bring a 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain, especially during winter months when snow chains are suggested. Security cameras are located on the front door, back deck, and garage. Quiet hours are after 10 PM, and trash must be bagged and taken to the Bearicade to avoid a $50 charge. Smoking is not allowed, and supervision is required for small children on the decks due to extreme height and sudden drop-off. A rental agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
