The other occupant on this level rarely uses the living room and spends little time in the kitchen/dining. Other storage space besides closet can be made available. The room is on the lower level of the house. It is a walk-out basement floor with a wall of windows facing a large sloping wooded yard and a large pond. The set up here allows significantly more light than your usual walkout basement. Scenic pond view. (As I write this, we just spotted a bald eagle fly across the pond. This is unusual, but a great blue heron is a regular here!) Upstairs is occupied by a family of 2 and a dog. Location: Between Mann's Chapel and Damascus Church Roads, about 10 min. south of Carrboro/Chapel Hill. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, each house located on at least 2 wooded acres. We are friendly, good, caring people looking for the same for a win-win situation! Your private room on a level shared with an elderly man. Share dining, living, and bathroom with him. Share laundry with whole house (mom and teen on upper level). We are looking for someone who likes elderly people and dogs, is honest, friendly, and kind. Absolutely zero tobacco and drug use. You will need to purchase renter's insurance. If you have a dog, it cannot be a swimmer (yard is fenced on 3 sides and bordered by a pond on the 4th) and it does needs to be good with people and other dogs. Also must be completely house trained! Additional fee applies. Would like to begin with a month to month lease to make sure we're all a good fit. Then 6 month lease.
