For someone moving intercity or internationally this is a great deal - get a fully furnished apartment without having to pay fully furnished prices (you'll make back the furniture purchase within three months). We are happy to Skype with people from interstate or outside America and show them around the apartment. If you like it, we will give you the contact details of the owner who you can talk to direct about rental applications. **We are currently only seeking applications for people who want the apartment + furniture package** ABOUT THE APARTMENT The apartment is the entire third (top) floor of a small five tenant apartment block near 6th Avenue and Hugo. It has beautiful views of several large trees from the back bedroom and views of Parnassus campus from the front bedroom. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, so great for studying, guests or shared tenancy. It is tastefully furnished. Because it is on the top floor it is extremely quiet. You will rarely hear your neighbors, you will never have the thump of people walking above you, and you are distanced from most street noise. Also because it is on the top floor, there are stairs :) The apartment block has a back yard, though we hardly ever use it. Converse direct with the owners about pets, I'm not sure what they would say. The apartment does not have dedicated parking, though street parking is available. There is a coin operated laundry in the basement. The apartment is in an *amazing* location. It is: - One block from Golden Gate Park (bigger than Central Park in NYC and just as awesome). - Three streets from the restaurant district - One block from the Muni (tram) system - Five minutes' walk to UCSF Parnassus campus - In a safe, community oriented area **Perfect location if you will be at UCSF (5 minute walk) or want easy access to the city without city prices (20 minute commute)** ABOUT THE FURNITURE Available for purchase from tenant (that's me!). Original cost is $10,000+. Selling for the price of one month's rent ($3250), because in honesty we're happy to take a loss if it means selling everything all in one go. All furniture is brand-new except for the second bedroom bed, which you wouldn't know was second hand unless we told you :) We are also including all cutlery and linen. Basically as soon as you move in, you'll be 100% set up and ready to go.
