The house is actually two apartments, which are completely separate; different entrances, washer / dryer, etc. The only shared space is the basement, which is accessible from the outside. The basement is strictly for storage. I've also added in some nice features to include a remote thermostat. You control it with your an app. Its really convenient if you travel or forget to turn off your heat. You can set timers as well. The unit has A/C, which was recently installed, that blows cold. You can cool the entire house down in a 15 minutes. It's also zoned, if you just want to cool the bedroom. Total square footage is just under 800. The apartment shares one wall with the other apartment. You cannot hear anything from the other apartment. I never have. The other tenant is quiet and keeps to himself. Both neighbors are very friendly, quiet and I have never had any problems. If you want peace and quiet with easy access to federal hill, this is a great place.
