I bought this house in 2001 and it was a shiplap, tarpaper shack with knob and tube electric, no foundation, no insulation and rotten to the core. I have torn it all the way to the frame and replaced EVERYTHING. It has all new undergound, 200 amp electric service, foundation, insulation, siding, windows, roofing etc, etc....I built a 600 square foot garage with recessed lighting, heat, cable and insulation.. I then connected the house to the garage and added a master suite, complete with walk in closet and on suite bathroom..I have hooked to the new sewer system, redone the entire lawn and fenced it. I also added a 12 x 24 covered front porch and back decks as well. Just finished a 10x14 enclosed sunroom on the back side. I call it my "Florida Room". Lots of windows, tile floor, ceiling fan. It is my dining room also. Had house painted in 2011. Got tired of trying to maintain raw cedar. Glad I did. Made it low maintenance and better preserved now. Neighborhood Description I have lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. I love the location, it is accessable to multiple freeways and yet it feels like you are in the country. There is the Tukwila Community Center, parks and walking trails all right here. I feel safe here, have never had any problems with bad guys.
