    What's special

It's a cozy, clean 2 bedroom duplex on the first floor. There's an upstairs unit with one tenant who has been living there for almost 20 years--who is super friendly and helpful. The apartment has a relatively new kitchen, and a brand new shower. No washer/dryer (though there's a spot for them, as well as plenty of laundry options close-by). All hardwood floors. There's a large hedge in the front, which is great for privacy. A nice little fenced in backyard patio area. There are two available parking spaces behind the unit, one in a garage and the other in the driveway, in addition to street parking. Your choice to be partially furnished or completely unfurnished--there is some existing furniture, which can stay or be thrown out prior to your move in. I'm looking for a roommate to basically take over the unit. I find myself living here less than half of the year (roughly 4-5 months -- I travel a lot and live on the east coast as well). For most of the year, you would have the place to yourself (you wouldn't have to deal with a subletter), and you would be welcome to use my room as an office, guest room, or just storage space. I would of course let you know well in advance when I'll be around or not. The idea here is for me to just have a place when I AM in town, without dealing with subletting or constantly moving. You would pay $1140/month (month-to-month rental agreement), plus power and trash (roughly $50-70/mo). Landlord covers gas and water. Upstairs tenant let's us use his wifi for free. Owner pays water and gas. Tenant pays power and trash.
