Walking up to the house it seems huge and grand. Once you're inside through the 2-story entryway, it gets cozy. We love the 2-story window at the front of the house and the morning sun really comes in to brighten everything up. The back of the house has a wall full of windows letting in the afternoon sun - perfect for all of our houseplants. There isn't a neighbor directly across the street, but the mailbox is, which makes getting the mail a breeze. The kitchen is really nice - we've toyed with replacing the current stove with one that has 6 burners and a double oven, but the current configuration has been working just fine to support our Cottage Food candy business. It opens up onto the living area and we have a 6-person kitchen table plus 3 barstools and with the living room can seat our entire extended family of 13, which we do quite often. Plenty of counter space to fire up the electric skillet, Instant Pot and Crock Pot all at once. The yard isn't huge, but it's been great for our 3 dogs. Wide enough to throw the tennis ball. Just around the corner is a pretty large greenspace and we walk the dogs there to get their wiggles out. There is also a playground, park and two huge fields (one full of trees next to the pool and the other is wide open on the other side of the playscape). There is a walking path that goes all the way around the neighborhood and passes the ponds with fountains and waterfowl. We've seen some cranes, herons, ducks and all manner of songbirds. Our neighbors are thoughtful (one rental and one permanent resident) and the HOA board is super involved. They are always on the Facebook page answering people's questions and helping find what they need. We've really enjoyed it here and think you will, too!
