*$800 utilities included* I'm renting out a bedroom in my 3bed/2bath house. The room is furnished with a full bed, nightstand, two small bookcases, two drawer stands, and a good sized closet. The bed can be removed if needed. A dresser would definitely fit if you had one to bring. The window is east facing and gets a lot of natural light! There are blackout curtains if you prefer to sleep in. There is a second back entrance that leads straight to the room/bathroom for a more secluded feel, and your own bathroom (it will only be shared with friends that visit the house as it's the accessible bathroom). The bathroom is newly renovated The backyard is large with a fire pit, lounge chairs, and covered patio. There is shed in the backyard for gear storage as well. The house is 1.5miles from fisher/TF brewing and the Granary district, ~1mile from the international peace gardens, 5min bike ride to the 9 line trail, and 10 min to downtown. The 9 bus line is around the corner, and about 5-10min drive to different trax stops for easy transport to The U or downtown. A little about me- I'm 36 and work at The U hospital. I spend most of my free time outside with various activities and rarely at home. I keep the house clean, especially common areas. I'm looking for someone that is like minded I have occasional game nights and backyard hangs in the summers, but prefer to keep the house as a cozy sanctuary without large parties. Im open to a short term rental of 3-6months lease, or month to month. I do have two cats, they're both very cuddly and friendly! Unfortunately no other pets at this time. Happy to show the house and meet in person to see if it'll be a good fit. If you're interested please let me know the following: - how long of a lease you'd like, and the start date - what are your roommate pet peeves - what do you enjoy doing in your free time Im open to a long term of one year, short term rental of 3-6months lease, or month to month.
