It is nestled in a valley at about 2,000 feet above sea level (ASL), so it is about 2-3 degrees cooler than downtown Phoenix, which is at about 1,100 feet ASL. Almost every home has unobstructed views of the mountains that surround the neighborhood. The desert landscape here is heavily vegetated with Saguaros, Mesquite and Palo Verde trees, etc. This area is located about 30 miles northwest of downtown Phoenix, about 45 minutes from Sky Harbor. There are plenty of local shopping and restraurants, the nearest of which is about 1.5 miles away.
