Price reduced even more (moving, willing to take a bigger loss as I'm wishing to move). A great get-away retreat home in the country. We completely remodeled the bathroom with new surround-shower/tub and new sink and tile floors. Bamboo floor in the hallway and utility room (which could be an office). We stripped the living room and two bedroom floors and sanded. We refinished the bedroom floors and walls as needed and painted. New pex plumbing. Plumber cleaned and checked the sewer system, works fine. Good power. Big shed in back also has power. Full basement, we brought in small gravel and dried it, reinforced foundations. There are additional supports down the middle of the house in the basement so its strong. Still has fuel-oil heating and a large tank outside for fuel-oil. We replaced the non-working elevator with a stairwell and did some drywall finishing in the two upstairs rooms. New double-pane windows in most locations in the house. I decided not to re-do the kitchen as I'm moving, leaving that to the buyer's wishes and priced low accordingly. Vinyl siding. Roof good, asphalt shingles. Large grass areas; could be used for horses etc. Flowering trees in the spring, also walnuts. Large area for dog (or garden), mostly fenced in. Large lawn. Two wells on the property and a cistern also, but we use rural water which is piped in (and reasonably priced).
