Set on a beautiful 5-acre lavender farm off McCourtney Rd, just 7 minutes from downtown Grass Valley and 13 minutes from Nevada City, this elegant farmhouse comes partially or fully furnished. Great for families, friends, couples, and roommates. The home is artfully appointed and features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom. The expansive dining and kitchen space are connected through an open floor plan with room for lovely dinners. The comfy living room features a plush sectional, wood burning stove, tons of natural light, and a view of the pond. There's a wraparound porch and two lawns, which are great places to lounge in spring, summer, and fall. The peaceful property includes several acres of lavender fields surrounded by wooded pastures of oak and cedar. From the pond-front hot tub you can catch a glimpse of egrets, herons, ducks, and more. Internet is reliable for multiple people to be streaming and using video conferencing. Washer and dryer included. Neighborhood is quiet and away from everything, while also being super close to town. We're also a 5-minute drive to the Nevada County Fairgrounds, which hosts dozens of events and music festivals. You'll have access to a veggie garden including several raised beds with good soil and surrounded by a deer fence draped in thornless blackberries that produced 50 lbs of fruit last August! The lavender blooms in June and July and you're welcome to take as much as you'd like. We have a fenced-in chicken coop with two egg-laying hens and an automatic door. It can easily accommodate more birds if desired. We can also rehome our birds. If desired, there's a possibility of working a few hours on the property each month to be compensated at $25/hour.
