It is 30 min to the City recreation center going north and 30 min to the regional hospital going east. The location is 20-50 min to outdoor hiking, rafting, snowshoeing, hot springs, and skiing. The 5.5 acre property has pine trees and mountain views. Built with eco-friendly materials by the hosts, the inside is a finely finished 450 sq ft. fully furnished. Conservation of water and electricity is important as solar powers the electric grid. A tour: Come through an entry/mud room to a sitting room which has a kitchen area at one end and a desk at the other end below a window that looks across the mountains.The sitting room has full length windows that capture light and heat in the winter. There is a cushioned love seat and chair, small coffee table and side table. The kitchen area has a 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, deep sink with overhead cabinet and a table. COMING END NOV stove with oven. In the bedroom there is a custom-made queen bed, freestanding closet, bureau and straight back chair. When sitting in bed you can watch the sun rise from a nearby window and view the mountain, trees, sky and clouds across the canyon. The bathroom has a large 36" wide shower stall, privacy wall for the toilet and a bureau for linens and/or storage. The sink is surrounded by a decorated cement counter top with oval mirror above. Outside there is a small covered porch and sitting area that gets morning sun and is shielded from wind by a rock wall. The property managers live on-site below the small house and have 2 friendly dogs. Rental fee includes gas and electric. Renter pays water and internet. Owner pays for heating gas and electric . Renter pays for water ($105/1000 gallon cistern),internet ($50/month CenturyTel) and trash pick up if desired. Parking is on the upper driveway, not under cover. There is NO SMOKING and NO PETS. Last month's rent is paid upfront. A minimum 6 month lease is expected.
