In Candler Park, next to Freedom Park. Views feel like living in the country looking out on rolling hills and trees. I do not know of a comparable location in Atlanta. The apartment is the back side (1/3 really) of a 1920s house. Another tenant (a couple) has the front side. Landlord pays water bill. Just renovated tpo to bottom: refinshed floors, new appliances in kitchen, gutted and rebuilt bathroom. Huge deck looking out on the park. Fenced in backyard. Dogs encouraged, but not if agressive or barking. I will need to meet your dog. Walkng distance to L5P, but far enough away to feel separate. Also a short walk to Carter Center (Saturday morning Farmer's Market). About 2 miles from VaHi. 3 miles to Emory. The Path bike route, which runs through the Park and connects to the Beltline, is 200 yards away from the house. The Beltline is about 1 mile to the West. Easy bike commute to Midtown. I have owned the house since 1988 when I bought it after renting the offered apartment for a few years. This is the only rental property I own. My wife and I mangage it. Prior renters have stayed at least 3 years. Several 5+ years. Credit check required. Landloard pays for water. 1 year lease.
