I learned this is called a “treasure house” because it really checks so many boxes. The location is perfect for someone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle, corner lot with a beautiful view of the rolling hills. All of my neighbors are truly the perfect neighbors. You are surrounded by people who have seen the history of this 120+ year old home and everyone is really invested in its restoration (but most just like to give away their produce and other garden goodies) The photos posted are before renovation. Exploring the woods you’ll find plenty of mushrooms, wild berries (a row of planted blackberries from a previous owner too) and foraging opportunities (there’s 2 patches of morels I will point out to the buyer, if they want to know) two HUGE white peonies, a well established rhododendron and a beautiful patch of fox gloves by the mailbox. The nights are quiet and the stars are loud. This place is hard to part with but would suit someone who has the time to invest in finishing the renovations.
